Sounds on topic to me. ^^ The way you put it makes it appear even more to me that Hebrew wasn't a specific race, so to label it as racism would be technically incorrect, no? Because it was a term applied to an assortment of tribes, an assortment of people, Hebrew it isn't denoting racial features - skin color, slant of eye, breadth of nose, which is the main foundation of racism. It is more akin to hatred of people from one nationality than people of one race, isn't it? |

And one of my classmates always makes fun of the other foreigners in the class. He didn't bother me so I didn't really mind him. I didn't want to get myself involved. But one day he locked me out of the classroom cause according to him "japanese girls aren't allowed inside." I almost cried in anger. Luckily, my other classmates stood up for me and started badmouthing him. Since then he layed of the foreigners. But according to him "it was just a joke" After that I never respected him, because I never said anything bad about his race and yet he makes fun of mine. |
