And I agree that his voice has matured, also. I actually think he sounded better on the first album, it was more intense and raw. ^ I agree with you.. and i think his voice has changed in some way on this record the black parade.. mm a little bit higher? i don't know how to explain but it feels like his voice has changed.. is it only me who thinks so??

I get what you mean, his voice definately sounds different in TBP compared to "Bullets" and "Revenge"... his voice does sound kinda higher now. It's hard to explain, but if you listen to a song from TCFSR and the one from TBP you can definately hear a difference.

It's strange, cause sometimes I like guy singers to have high voices, and I always prefer girl singers to have deep voices....like Courtney Love and Kim Gordon. I love them.

Don't get me wrong it's still good - just in an entirely different way. ^lol I don't know why but this post made me laugh (no offense) I think Gerard's voice has really come a long way. It started out as a gift he had but didn't know how to use but I think his voice is starting to sound a little more professional. I agree, I like the sound in Bullets where he could go from, soft: All we are is bullets I mean this... in Demolition Lovers, to loud: Stand up fuing tall and let me see your back and take my fuing hand... in Our Lady of Sorrows Revenge was... definatly... something else... Full of aggression, different ways to "settle the score" and a tragic tale of love and death, hidden beneath it all. I really can't think of how to discribe Gee's voice... the band as a whole was starting to figure out who they where and I think Gerard started being able to tap into his amazing voice and experiment. WttBP was curtainly the time MCR refound themselves. I think when the band said they had to become, whole different people, I think Gerard did that with his voice. He recreated it into something else; something more than it already was. Changing what they where singing about, changed Gerard's singing style, too. I think all 5 of them are fabulous in all three records and have been doing a fabulous job. Gerard's singing might have change but Gee's still Gee and we still love what MCR does.
