I love Gerard and I love Bert and I loved when they were friends. So what's this about no beef between MCR and The Used? No beef? But they're still not friends? I'm confused now. I really wish Gerard and Bert could just make out make up. |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 3374 | March 24th, 2007 at 01:02pm Bert wouldn't just "hate" Gerard for no reason though. I don't know the reason but something else happened there that we don't know about. It was odd how Bert said, "Come buy our new CD, it isn't like the fucking Black Parade", and then before that I saw an interview with him (posted in this thread by Lik) where he said there's no beef with MCR and The Used...but maybe there's beef with him and Gerard...Just guessing here, people. Not saying fact. |

Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 3660 | March 25th, 2007 at 05:17am Random, but I think, if I may, that this fight started when Bert got angry at Gerard for something, not the other way around.
I was just listening to Disenchanted for the millionth time, which we all know is about Bertie Boy, and rememberd the line, "And if you think that I'm wrong, this never meant nothing to you."
And then we know Bert thinks Gerard is a liar.
So after much thinking (I waste my brain on MCR and TU, I swear), I really think Gerard tried to tell Bert something, and Bert rejected what he had to say, thought he was lying.
You know how little fights start all the time between friends? I think this started as a small thing - B thought G lied, and they had a little spat. Then it expanded like all big fights grow: Both parties think they're right, and refuse to apologize to each other. Then it grows and grows and they drift apart. I think they're both feeling hurt (B thinks his best friend lied to him, G knows his best friend doesn't believe him), but pride stops them from apologizing to each other.
Bert is stubborn - if he honestly thought Gerard was lying, then he'll stick to it.
Gerard is hurt - if his best friend didn't believe him, well..."this never meant nothing to you".
dfuihfdgingfd I'm rambling and been listening to my "Bert & Gerard Love Song Playlist" too much today ;_; |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 1359 | March 25th, 2007 at 08:48am Thats strange. Why does the topic sentence say Bert vs MCR? Is it Bert alone vs everyone from MCR? That ain't a fair fight. |

I've just been thinking about Gerard and Bert. How it started and for some reason I kept thinking that maybe Gerard was the one who started it. (Not saying it's all his fault) |

I'm sorry McCracken, but if anyone is so fucking full of themselves, it's you.
I've just lost all respect for him.
You took the words right out of my mouth.
Bert needs to grow up and grow out, expand his life and move on. Gerard did, didn't he? It's not as if it's impossible! |

Bert and Quinn virtually told Kerrang! it was about Gerard, but in Big Cheese Bert said that the song is NOT about Gerard.
