That was one of the first songs I learnt off The Black Parade.
MCR is sorta boring to do once you get out of the whole n00b stage.
Rock can get a little repetitive, but I guess it all depends on the material you're learning.

I know a few Mars Volta and At The Drive-In songs on bass guitar.

MCR have horrendously boring bass lines.

Yes
It's so simple.
A three year old could play it.

I don't see why people say that Mikey Way is their bassist hero when everything he plays is

It's pretty fun when you're jamming with someone else, but by yourself it's just Neutral

I've gotten sort've bored of rock music, I'm thinking of getting into the blues for more of a challenge.

Thank god people agree with me that Mikey is not the best bass player in the world, I seem to always get yelled at when I bring that up.

Billy Talent is a really fun rock band to play bass to, one of the few rock bassist's left is Jon Gallant.

I've played bass for as long as I can remember, fun instrument if you dont play just mcr and Fall Out Boy level songs.

Anybody got tips for learning?
I bought my friends bass for 50$ and I'm not much of a natural bassist as I thought. All I know is... kill all your friends. [which is really fun btw].
But... What should I start out with practicing?

Kill Cassidy, when you post tabs, use Font 8 or 9. And try to make them readable.

My Chemical Romance is pretty easy to play, and so is Fall Out Boy .
Green Day's old stuff isn't half bad either.

I used to practice walking bass lines to get used to moving from one fret to the other.
It really helps you get warmed up for a song.

^^
I do that, but it depends what I'm playing.
Say I'm playing I'm Not Okay, I'd need a pick for that because I just can't use my hands to play something that repetitive.
The ending to ' Snakes on a Plane ' I use my fingers to pick because it feels more comfortable that way.

^^ I find it easier to play with a pick with rock music.
I can't grip it the right way though, my fingers go red from playing ><.

Oh there's this really good pick I used to have, its great for grip. It was one of those 2.5mm ones, but it had indentswhere your finger and thumb go.
'Twas the best pick I ever had

I had a Jim Dunlop fat boy or something like that.
It was exactly the same and it was purple.
I just used my brother's Fender Mediums now =\
