Posts: 6 | May 20th, 2007 at 01:09am If anyone is starting out I suggest some old school like Iron Butterfly's In-A Gadda-Da-Vida, I can play that song backwards and forwards, with my eyes closed, and my way to go was if I can learn something difficult as my first song, I can tackle easy repetitive basslines any day..
Next up: My Girl by the Temptations
& The Jackson 5 I Want you back (if you can do this I applaud you)

Thank you!  I'm kind of old, so I've heard all my parent's music and then some.. I commend all of you for picking up an instrument so young (not that you're babies), but I think it's great, all I played when I was younger was the flute :-/ and I pretty much sucked at it.. |
