04/17/2008 + 04/18/2008 - Chicago, IL - Congress Theater

wheee. i bought my ticket this evening, but i take the one that will be shipped no less than 48 hours before the concert but im not sure if i'll get it that time... im so pessimistic when it comes to this kind of things.geezz

I'd also be ecstatic for any song from Bullets. What am I saying? I'm gonna be ecstatic no matter what, honestly! I keep breathing too deeply and feeling lightheaded. LOL

I was telling my mom, what if they forget to send the tickets?!
I'd be so angry, but I'd show up anyway and fight my
way in. I hope they play Headfirst, but just being there is
good enough for me.

We'll pretend we're the merch people or something, and then just
push ourselves in and tada! I'm going to run to the front of the floor
to try and get as close as possible to the stage, hopefully it won't be
too chaotic.

I LOVE pits, except when I'm at a show like this one, I'd rather watch
them perform. At least with this technically being my first time
seeing them.

But the pits are the life of the show, i love watching them. Lol.

I wonder if my mom would let me go in there -- actually she would have to be with me. She probably wouldn't want us to leave our seats. I hope she lets me write things all over my arms.

I want to be right up there at the barracade! I want to be able to smell the sweat! Lol. (That sounds creepy.)

The ticket thing is bothering me too, I'll be so sad, then angry, and then depressed. And then, I'll rally with you guys! I am SO not missing this show!

w00t! We're going to have this whole army [MCRmy?!] of
people rallying about if the ticket thing happens.

I'm going to be fighting, hypothetically, my way to barricade,
no matter what it takes! I'll get there eventually.

I just wish the concert would get here already.

Let's go, have fun, be safe, enjoy the show, and respect the band. They've stated that they wanted to get back to their roots. Let's give them that request. I think that would mean more to them than any trinket you could bring them.

If you're concerned about the tickets, print out your confirmation page from Ticketmaster. (I should have thought of that before paying $14 in UPS shipping, but oh well) In the incredibly rare event that your tickets do not get there in time, you have a receipt showing payment. There's no need to fight or rush the barricades.

I've got my confirmation paper just in case. :] Just playing it safe.

I just want to get to the front so I can get a good look at them up close,
haha, this is my first time seeing them live. I wish I could bring my camera,
but I suppose they're snobs and will take them away, as I've heard
from everyone else.

I'm there for the experience, for sure.

Our tickets haven't arrived yet either. I wasn't worried. It'll be okay, guys. It's gotta be okay.

The barricades are where it's at! That way you can really feel the rush, last time I saw them I wasn't close at all, so this will be so much fun to be close.

45 days!!

Hi, I travel a lot for MCR and I'm going to eight shows this round. However, my rides have all decided to bail on me at the last minute...nothing new. So I'm going on the Greyhound to over half of this shows.

In Chicago I came across a problem. I could get there via Greyhound, but the venue is 21 minutes away from the station. I can't walk (as I normally do) or it'll take a while. I was wondering if someone was available the night before to pick me up at the station. I will be attending both shows. I don't really need a place to stay. I'll sleep outside at the venue and get out of line only when others show up to hold my place to pee, eat, and wash my hair at some random store. If you're willing to hold my stuff in your car, that would be great too. XD

I will also need a ride to Detroit, if someone is going there as well. You won't have to worry about me after as I have a friend meeting me at the venue, and I will be staying at her house.

If no one is going to the Detroit show, I'll just need a way to the Greyhound (which leaves at 12:01 AM after the show), so I can get to Detroit.

That is pretty rad, I wish I could do that! I would die to travel with MCR. :]

I really wish I could help you out, too, but I'm going with my mom and she's
going to want to get right there and home. I hope you find some help though!
