and now we know that the jazz hands part is also about Morrison

I think Frank means they'll shoot the next video between January/February, not that it'll be released then. They'll go back work (practice, etc) on mid January, so...

it depends on what kind of feeling they want to leave us with

whether they want it to be happy, sad, hopeful, crazy...
s/c/a/r/e/c/r/o/w is hopeful, but melancholy, so it may work.

i read in an interview that the third video of the trilogy is going to show us why the Killjoys rescued Grace from Korse/BL/ind, or that it will explain the importance of grace. maybe she is the girl who lived.
i think Scarecrow goes well with this. run, run, bunny, run.

But again, if it WAS true that Scarecrow is the next single, then it'll most probably not be part of the story...

I personally think it's just a rumor that started cause many people WANT it to be the single.

my guess is that maybe Scarecrow will be the fourth or the fifth single, or other songs from the album which has a strong connection to the storyline will be it.

They posted a DL to Save Yourself before the album came out on the site (the only non-single DD song to be leaked officially by them) and made it a song in the player that day. It's a possibility, but I just think it was a: "well we posted it, might as well make it a song in there" thing and they never got around to doing other DD songs yet?
