This is about the last minutes of a dying cancer patient asking is family and friends to do a few last things for him before he passes. He's telling them not to be sad when his gone and to remember him in a good way. He's saying that they shouldn't mourn his death, they should celebrate the life he had before he died. He says he won't kiss them because that's a goodbye gesture and he doesn't see it as goodbye. |

He felt hopeless, weak, sick, and that he had lived a wasted life, but wanted his family to know that he'd be all right, even though he was not at all sure of that himself. He's past the stage of resenting his family for "abandoning" him and now they are all he cares about. |
