I prefer not to get into politics, I personally do not like it. But I associate myself with no party, as I like to conform to my own ideas then a group's. I think Bush is stupid for sending more troops in when we have Iraq (basically) under control.

^Well, actually, no we really don't. We have it under control in the sense that if we pulled out things would collapse, but that's not to say that things are going well over there.

What bothers me the most is that he's not even committing a significant number of troops. If he's going to send more people in, he might as well send enough to actually fix things.

The Canadian governement system has gone to hell, it's safe to say. There's so much corruption amongst politicians [the liberals espically], that you no longer know whom to trust when it come to federal or provincial elections. Provinces, such as Quebec and Newfoundland & Labrador (proud Newfie, thnkx), are being neglected and virtually having our/their needs shoved aside so that good ole' Steven Harper can tend on Alberta and Ontairo hand and foot. Their's favourites being picked and i don't like it.

I hate politics

In the UK... Tony Blair. = /
I don't know much about politics and stuff;; but I can tell that I don't like him. The Iraq war just ended up with hundreds of people loosing their lives. The whole thing started when Blair and Bush decided that the Iraqi's had explosives hidden and were planning to bomb us. Did they ever find explosives? No.
Icky government....

Okay, I know not many people like George Bush, and I don't think he is the best president we've had, but also not the worst. Though I prefer not to get too involved in politics, I don't see that much of a problem with Bush, or the choices he makes with the war in Iraq.

Is there a draft in the U.S.?
I thought that there was going to be one, but I heard something, so now I'm not too sure.

I don't like Bush at all. But, I don't blame all the problems on him. There's a thing called checks and balances. The Executive Branch (president and cabinet, etc.), the Legislature Branch, and the Supreme Court all check each other.
Bush can't just make everything he believes into a law, the other branches would make sure of that.

^Some have been trying to push the draft, Charles Rangel especially. He's actually a Democrat and against the war in Iraq, and he feels that if there was a draft and the children of the middle class were in danger, their parents would start protesting the war and put a stop to it, like with Vietnam. He put forward the bill again, though I don't know what's been happening with it recently.

Oh, and about the second thing you said (and I just mean this in general, to everyone): see, the problem is, all of the Congresses during Bush's terms (until the most recent one) have had a Republican majority. Plus, with openings in the Supreme Court, Bush has been putting in conservative judges who are loyal to him, and that's for life. Bush (and correct me, anyone, if I'm wrong) has yet to veto a single bill. The founding fathers didn't design the Constitution thinking there would be a party system. Even though Bush can't really push through any laws he likes, that's been happening a lot. I think the United States government probably works best when the Executive and Legislative branches are opposite parties - that way they counterbalance each other.

Stuck On Maggie:
George Bush.
I don't like they way he's leading the country and running the government. Because of him we're in debt.
I wish Hilary Clinton would lead the country.

George Bush should be impeached. He is responsible for the death of 3000 american soldiers.

Hiary Clinton DEFINATELY NOT. She SAYS shes a democrat and all that...shes slowly turning republican, and I don't like any of her views any more. I'm completely for all rights and all equality twords women, but her and Condi really play up the fact that their women.

I live in the United States, so yeah, George Bush is the president. I don't really pay attention to him one way or the other, but I get tired of people hating on him 24/7 when he's trying and people also blame him for every problem in the world. It gets old.
The rest of the government are money-hungry, lying, corrupted people. We need some people with some sense to run this country.

Pessla:
haha, the swedish goverment.
Who knows anything about it? anything at all?

Ah, well. Göran Persson is the leader.
I don't like him all that much.
But since it's a democratic choice, I'm all happy.
And it's soon election again, so who knows?

However, I really don't like that we're a monarchy. It really pisses me off. Right of inheritance is the stupidest thing there is.

Acutally we've changed now :SFredrik Reinfeldt.. or whatever his name is? I liked Göran better xD haha. Fredrik sucks..

Hugo Chavez Frias.
He is the WORST President you can have.
He believes in, Socialism (I don't know how you say it in english).
Where the goverment gets all the money.
He believes everyone should get the same amount of money for work.
So, if you sit on your couch and do nothing, you win as much as the dude that works his ass off.
Sucks.
We just had elections, and he "won".
The other candidate was AMAZING.
Everyone voted for him,
And it was ovious he cheated because, after he "won",
he made the President of the CNE (The dude who controls the votes in the elections) Vice-President.
IT'S OVIOUS.
So, I can't wait till I go back to Fl.

I live in america, and George Bush is our leader, who's even worse than Richard Nixon (Nixon bombed a country and murdered thousands of people.)

But, murdering George Bush will kill us all, as Dick Cheney will just make killing legal and ban the Constitution.

What makes Bush worse than Nixon?
Why do you think Cheney would do that? No, how would Cheney do that? There is basically no way he could possibly ban the Constitution without being impeached or stopped in some way by the other two brances.

George Bush

Oh where do I begin? I hate him, he is the worst leader
America has ever seen. He keeps changing the reason
for why America is in Iraq and the reason of the moment
is because of terrorism. First of all Iraq was not that big of
a threat. I mean the only big terroist attack we got was 9/11
and that was Ossama(sp?) and Afgahnistan, not Iraq. Also
he scares ppl into thinking they are all terrorists in Iraq. Umm
no, but there are deffinatly more countries that hate America now
than before the War started (good job Bush). And every thing
that has gone bad while he was president was just swept
under the rug. Whatever happened to Ossama? What ever
happened with that whole anthrax thing? God, I could go on
for days about this. He also makes Americans look bad, he has
horrible grammar and makes an a** out of him self during
televised speaches...so if other countries hear him talk then
they probably think we are all that stupid. I cant wait until 2008
when we can finally get a new president, as a matter of fact
Bush shouldnt even be president now, he deffinatly cheated
in the 2000 election. I mean come on, there is a problem with
Florida's ballads and one of his relatives just so happens to be
governer (lets think ppl).

Uhm. No. No he's not. I believe you want to blame the suicide bombers for most of those. Do not go and blame someone who has not physically done harm to those people for the death of peoples' loved ones. Please understand, this was no draft. This was voluntary military service.

No, the reason has always been terrorism, or at least it's been the core of the reason.
And sure, maybe Iraq wasn't a problem at the time, but Saddam was a dictator, and I believe we all know what happens when you let a dictator maintain contol of a country for too long.
9/11 was Al Queda, not Afghanistan.
Ossama has yet to be found, but they're still searching for him.
The person who started the anthrax scare was caught, and that ended it.
Other countries speak other languages that sound just as weird to us as english does to them. I don't think they really care that the President has a dialect.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't there trouble with the Florida ballot in the last election?
And even if Florida went to Kerry, it wouldn't have made much of a difference, Bush still would've become President whether or not he got Florida.
