Age: 37 Gender: Female Posts: 24 | April 1st, 2007 at 09:18pm Yeah...sometimes I'm sad to say I'm American...especially when it comes to our politics. I don't like George Bush. I don't like Republicans/Democrats or any other political party. I don't like politics. My political stance (as far as electing representatives) is to not have a political stance. I don't vote, and people say I'm abusing my right. I say that I'm exercising my right not to vote for completely inept candidates.
I don't hate America, but sometimes I feel that it's just a bunch of narrow-minded, white chauvinistic pigs that run our society. I feel suffocated. So I'm moving to Europe. |

She isn't very good in leadership, and I believe she plays favorites. She keeps saying she'll help the poor, have more jobs, etc. But, only little has been improved in our country. I think she only uses her presidency to be richer and to get the power she longed for. Fernando Poe, Jr would be a better president than her, I can safely say that (too bad he's dead *sigh*)
I'm not very good at politics, but she really isn't a good president. Just another follower of Bush, agreeing to everything he says, just because he's the "most powerful man" on Earth (I don't think so) |

2) I honestly have a gret disdain for the man. He sickens me. If you killed 3,000 of your own countrymen for no reason, you should be in jail.
3) A lot. Stabilize Iraq. Scale back our millitary spending, Figure out the education crisis (get rid of abstinence only sex-ed, keep kids in school, get rid of No Child Left Behind). Imrpove our foreign relations. Legalize weed. |

well i agree with some parts of your comment.
but i think its sorta wrong to not have a political stance
after all it is not teh white chauvanist pigs that run our countries
it is ultimatly US the voters.
YOU have the power to vote in the candidate that could better the society
so you shouldnt really by having a bitch about how shit your government is
when you yourself do not do anything about it by not voting.
even though bush was a tool it was
the peoples choice to vote him in
so please before you have a skit about your government REMEMBER
you have the power to vote in people who can represent you properly. |

I myself am not old enough to vote in my country
im off by two years and the age is 18.
john howard the half assed leader of this great country.
these new industrial relations laws have crippled the working class
of this nation taking away many of the workers benifits
and giving them less rightsas workers.
comming from a migrant working class family i feel very strongly about the topic.
i feel that uncomfortable with countries run by white colar individuals
as they do not take in consideration the majority of the country which are the blue colar workers or if you may the working class.
i think my government should be run by the workingclass
like it was with bob hawke as he used to be a union leader
he cared for the working class.

He's ok I guess. Some of the things he has done I havent liked at all, but other things I have agreed with him. I'm on the fence about the US's government. Though if Hilary (sp?) Clinton becomes president I'm gonna scream. I really dislike her. I'm not sure what party I am yet. This upcoming presidential election is gonna be my first time voting, and so far, I havent been interested in any of the people who have confirmed that they were running. Politics sometimes get on my nerves. |
