Sure, they don't promote drugs, alcohol, caffiene, but sxe 'gangs' beat up people who do drugs, drink alcohol, have promiscious sex, ect. So, straight edge people are complete hypocrites, bcoz they promote violence to replace drugs and alcohol. It makes no sense. |

| Stare-x Bleeding on the Floor  Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 1902 | Vegan, straight edge, no comprimise has anyone ever heard of i killed the prom queen?? they are an amazing band who are against drinking, smoking and drugs i think this is good because some of their fans tend to be the smoker/drinker type and hopefully they will listen to the message the band are trying to get out i think that it is a good cause, kids are too exposed to drinks, drugs and smoking these days. You hear people talking about how smashed they got on the weekend or see the smoking in the bathroom and just think, what are they doing i'm not exactly straight edge, i have drunken alchol before but i havent been drunk, and i'm not a vegetarian but i am fully against drugs, promiscous sex and smoking i just think it's so wrong for 14 year olds and younger to be going to get drunk and have sex. i don't know about where other people are but where i live it's very common for people to do things like that on the weekends. i just think it's really sad to think about all the people who have thrown away their childhood like that :'( |

She meant to quote "Straight Edge don't work like that, etc." from Mr Fizz and then "well i don't plan to stick with it" was her reply. In that case, I would suggest that you aren't straight edge, you're just not ready to do those things. |
