I know how you feel. xD Most vegetarians I meet are in love with PETA.
I'm just not impressed by them. They're too extreme. And I don't think you win people over by spouting lies about how it's morally superior to be vegetarian or vegan. |

I've never eaten sheep anyway, and I chose myself to quit eating cows in September or October.
I would love to be a vegetarian, I really really would.
But I feel like right now it would be too difficult for my family to deal with.
This year I'll cut out pork, I think. And give it a bit before I eliminate any birds. |

It's been about a month and half and i don't really miss meat. i used ot eat it all the time.
people always say "just because you don't eat meat doesn't mean most people don't" but my response is that the less people who eat meat then the less demand there will be for meat. and the less animals they will have to kill.
i just don't think it's right. but everyone is entitled to their opinion. |

Yeah, same. But aside from the fish...I'm a very un-strict vegetarian...like I won't check labels to see if there's meat in it, but I won't eat it if I see meat in it...[/guilty]
I can't say anyone's been particularly supportive of me though.
But on another note, I really need to get some iron supplements. |

Chicken broth is technically a reduction of liquid from the various meaty parts of a chicken that are simmered in water. Vegetables are often added to increase flavor. The breasts and/or legs and thighs are removed after approximately three hours of cooking and used in other dishes.
