If anyone could help me,

My band are doing an MCR cover, we wanna do either:

Teenagers
Famous Last Words
I Don't Love You

Wink depends which one you think you can do the best. And which'll fit the mood of the performance. Think about what kind of feeling you want to create, then pic a song to go with that feeling.

And i'm learning to play the guitar, Frankie style XD
And play the keyboard.

What excerices can be done so you can't hear my breathing when I sing?

Well, you might want to know this, if you don't already:
You don't breathe through your chest, you breath in your stomach.

I would suggest maybe practicing breathing from your stomach slowly, and making sure it expands, and then pausing for a few seconds, then letting it back out slowly.

Also, if you have trouble getting a decent amount of air when you are doing that excercise, just do the excercise I've been taught:

Picture a very large, round object... say, a basketball, in your throat.
It may sound stupid, but if you picture it there, and you try to sing around it, it really does make a lot of a difference.

And a tip for when you sing, when your breath is in your stomach, when you sing, don't let your stomach drop. You have to keep it firm, and keep it sustained and expanded as long as you can, because that's the key to unnoticable breathing, and a better toned voice.

I hope I helped.

If you're doing "Angel of Music" you have to be a soprano - unless you're doing it in a lower key. But if you and your friend are doing the original, it's really pretty high. What kind of soprano I wouldn't be able to help you with - if you can sing low as well as high you could be a mezzo soprano - but yeah, anyways.
Then yes, I am pretty sure I am a mezzo soprano, because I can go low as well as high.
Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Basic scales are always helpful.
They can be done on a piano or guitar

I can sing, I guess. I made it into the show choir at my school, which means singing AND dancing. I'm also in a rock school band, and was in one over the summer. I sang a couple songs, and we did a really bad cover of "I Don't Love You". My idea, xD.

I wouldn't see it making a difference, but I would say full would probably be better, just because the constant gnawing in your stomach might disract you from putting all your techniques to use at once.

The problem with singing when you're very full is that even drawing in a good breath can cause you to have a bad tummyache.

I sing and play piano (I posted this before on this topic I think), and I've been in bands and small groups but no one is really interested to make a career out of it in New Hampshire. I've written hundreds of songs. A lot of people around here want to imitate Green Day though... write, sing, play like Green Day. It's irratating but that's the way it is. Or they want to do hard core metal, you know, when you don't even know what they are singing.

I've already posted here, but I just decided to also add that it turns out, my teacher says, that I'm mainly a first soprano, but I'm anything from Descant (which is higher than first soprano) to a Tenor. Or a low Alto.
Most likely a low Alto.
Either way, I feel pretty proud. My highest note is an E, and my lowest is a D.
So... yay me?
My teacher says it's good. Oh well.
I love this thread, by the way.

I've been singing for a while, nothing major. I mean I've been in a few talent shows and sang at some weddings but yeah. Uhm, well, I've been singing since I was about 7, like seriously. I've always wanted to be a singer in a band, but never got to start one [[people have issues around here with loud music]]
anyway, I play instruments and stuff. Mainly how I teach myself to match notes is playing on my key board. I'm about an alto-ish soprano-ish thing. So yeah. :]
