some people think its creepy but...when i listen to their music i feel like they're like me and im not alone. i feel like im talking to them when i listen to their music....
they're like the best friends i've never met.
i love them so much and it makes me never wanna die so i never have to stop listening. all i want in life is to meet them..more than anything on this earth. |

Yes they do..when people hear that they think that its weird and not true...but they are wrong..mcr wanted to save lives and they did and still do..i know heaps of people who have been saved by MCR including myself...id have to disagree if people think that they dont because they truly do..
The messages they give to us fans is always positive and helps..their lyrics also have a big part to the equation too..

I don't want to delve into why, I'll just say that last year, I didn't really feel like I could talk to or relate to anyone about life and some certain things that were going on with myself.
And then I started thinking about what I could do about it. I knew I couldn't talk to anyone about it, and I just...
And then I thought about suicide. I just thought of it and thought of it. And I stood at that ledge many times, barely able to pull myself back.
So I finally decided to do it. One day, I just told myself that this would be it. I wrote my note. I had it planned. And so I waited for that night to come, like I had so many others, because I couldn't imagine doing it in front of anyone in mid-day or anything of the sort.
But that day, I went out and bought what was supposed to be my last round of CDs. It included the Life on the Murder Scene set. I put it in the DVD player, and it was only like a minute and thirty seconds into it that I heard that quote I put at the top, and I realized "holy shit." And I stopped myself and said "fuck this, I'm going to keep on going."
Say what you will about how lame it is or whatever, but the point is, that when you're sitting there, ready to die, and someone pulls you out of it, and it doesn't matter if it's a quote, a song, your best friend, you girl friend, your dog, they pulled you out of it. Gerard may not have physically grabbed me when I was about to jump, but he kept just far enough from that ledge to keep going. I count myself among the many who say, with no "almost"s, or "in a way"s, that My Chemical Romance saved my life. |

Since I'm Catholic, I've learned that when you suicide, you go to hell...
I'm not sure that's such a good turnout, you know...
That's all I have to say, really. MCR really is an impacting band, and there's nothing else to say about it. |

they saved mine. my friend (amber <3!!) 'corrupted' me and for that i love her. but seriously, i was really depressed and suicidal for about 2 years and when i watched life on the murder scene, i could really relate to what gerard was going through. the line that really hit home was 'its okay to be messed up because there's 5 dudes out there that are just as messed up as you.' because of that i realized what i wouldve done to everyone around me if i wouldve gone through with it. then i found this site and noticed that im not the only one that went through this kind of thing.

but there were times i thougt of it ..
but they gave me curige to be my self and dont take shit from people

I agree witrh you. They have had some bad patches that they have gotten through. I think that they do save lives. Maybe in one way more than others. Some people may not agree with their lyrics but they could try to listen to some of the things that they have said in some interviews or something like that. |
